Flight from Kandahar

Flight from Kandahar, the final work in my Triage series, illustrates the exhaustion of military personnel returning home following an intense tour of duty in Afghanistan. The three-and-a-half hour flight from Kandahar to Dubai aboard a Hercules was hot, cramped and noisy.
