Back From Kandahar (aka When Bruce Met Mary)

On Remembrance Day, 2007, Capt. Bruce Reeves, Head Ward Nurse at Role 3 Hospital in Kandahar during my stay, visited Ottawa. Bruce was introduced to my mother Mary, a former nurse. I painted this small portrait to act as a bridge between my military art and the church tea series.
