Guide dog puppies attend various forms of entertainment in preparation for their future life. The theatre is no exception. We brought Stanley to a performance of David Hare’s “Stuff Happens” at the National Arts Centre. The woman sitting in front of us received a lick on her ear during the performance. She handled Stanley’s gesture of affection with grace and only a modicum of surprise, after all, stuff happens.
